    Mt Canobolas Day Trip

    Had an enjoyable day around Mt Canobolas last weekend with the local 4WD Club. Vehicles included a competition Patrol ute, a modified Maverick wagon, a Hilux ute, an old model Pajero and my Prado. The Patrol and Maverick had a play on some difficult hills which the other three didn't try but the Prado went everywhere else without any problems.

    Top stuff, Mike. I haven't been 4WDing around Canobolas before. Looks fun. I've been up the main road to the summit a number of times. My folks are from Canowindra and you can almost see their farm from Canobolas looking south.

    Might have to head out that way myself soon.

    Where abouts in the Central West are you? (Sorry if we have already discussed this, my brain sometimes suffers from C.R.A.F.T) :lol:

          I'm based in Orange Drew so Mt Canobolas provides great driving close by. Only problem is that there are so many tracks it's easy to get lost.
