The kids are never too young to 4WD, we took our daughter (currently 24 yrs old) at 6 weeks old with her 3 year old sister up to Fraser Island beach camping for a month in a Suzuki LWB Sierra .

You know what they both have 4WD's Nissan's unfortunately, but they'll learn ) now their own kids and we still go camping and 4WDriving as a family together, loving it.
