    Hi Andrew
I spoke to my Best Man tonight from Pinnaroo, He said that he had 17 mm of rain on the weekend and a few more showers today.
With the current forecast predicting more rain for the week ahead it looks like you should give those Micky T's a good try out.
Got any other vehicles in your party.
    Cheers Troy

I'll be keeping out of those big holes mate, value my car and my life (the wife would kill me if it gets damaged) to much to do any damage.

well back from the trip was a real good weekend with 2 other 120's and 2 90's along for the ride.
You'd be happy to know MidLife I decided to brave it and do some of the bog holes (left the bigger ones).
Ended up bending a side step and half removing a front mud guard. Step fixed by a little bit of jumping up and down on it, mudguard to be looked at after mud is cleaned off.

Here are a few pics of the weekend.

Just one mental note for next time, check radiator after going through bog holes. Driving back to Keith temp needle went very quickly up to extremely hot (ie needle couldnt go any higher). The little bit of water we had left cleaned it a tiny bit and after a little rest to cool it down we got to Keith OK doing 60km/h and then washed it out at the caravan park with a hose. Was a very close call thats for sure.

Just keep a close eye on the temp gauge for the next month or two, incase you have hurt the head gasket, hopefully all is ok.

Covering the front grill with a tarp to protect the radiator and the alternator from all the slush in the bog hole might make a difference.

in hinsight yes, its the first time I have taken it through mud like this and never had the problem with other 4WD's I have owner. I ahve since found out that one of the other 120's suffered the same fate and was towed to border town to be cleaned.
