    NSW: Saturday July 30th: Ourimbah State Forest

    We're heading up to Ourimbah State Forest to see if Declan can score an avatar pic like mine There are minor ruts and rock steps but the worst can be skipped if need be. Suspension lift is recommended, lockers an advantage, and high clearance side steps may be attained on the day. ;-P

    Meeting at:
    SYDNEY: 8:30 AM @ Maccas carpart, Thornleigh.     Departing around 8:45am. The entrance is on Central Ave, just off Pennant Hills Rd - follow the Maccas sign http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=mcd...,0.009162&z=17
    CENTRAL COAST: 9:30 AM @ the corner of Palmdale Rd and Toobys Creek Rd, Palmdale. It's quite close to the freeway and it'll be a convenient spot to air down.

    Finishing time is flexible; usually 4-5pm, but if you want to leave earlier, the F3 Freeway won't be far away.

    Bring: GLOVES, Prado, morning tea, lunch, water/drinks, camera, air compressor/recovery gear if you have it, sense of adventure.

      haha, don't worry too much. Whilst I did bend a side step pretty seriously there, I was doing rough stuff with momentum because I didn't have a locker at the time. With a locker you can go slow. For anyone without locker, they can go around.

          Just thought I would have this repeated so people who want get out but don't want to go hardcore aren't frightened off.

                Either the video doesn't do the terrain justice or the driver is a newbie. How did he not see the huge rock? He seemed to be trying so hard to run into it.

                  i do agree they did take a lot of time to go thru it .........well i cannot comment too much about it as Declan said the driver could be a newbie and so am i

                    I am keen, first proper test for my 150. Can you pick somehwere around Ourimbah that i can meet you all? Dont see much point in driving to Sydney, then driving back again to start the day

                              Hi There Glen, I will be going shotgun with Williade (Declan). Meeting Declan at Ourimbah (I will drive to her house then will get my mum to drop me there she is only 5 mins away and she can watch our 3 year old for the day, wife's working) Cheers Steve
