NSW: Stockton Beach run end of September/early October

Hi all,

MUMSRIG will be in Newcastle for the latter part of this month and early next month... and it's been a long, long time since I've been along the ole Stocko Beach for a run.. Wouldn't mind checking out whats left of the Sygna nowadays and having a look at the shacks etc..

I have a friend from WA who is living in Sydney and he is keen to go for a run, aswell as the old man in his Disco 3...

I'm not sure of dates as yet however we aim to be in Newcastle from the 29th Sept till the 5th of Oct, so I would say at this stage that the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of Oct could be the dates??

If anyone is keen to come along then please post up your interest... It would be especially nice if a seasoned Stocko Beacher wished to lead as it's been about 15years since I last went....

P.S. I won't be online a great deal over the next couple of weeks as we head off on our little adventure East in the morning. I will check and update when I can..

Im rostered off for the 1st and 2nd so I'll be there for sure. Ive done 20 years of 4wd'n up at Stockton so I might be able to show you around a bit. Looking forward to meeting up with you. Aaron

2nd is good for me or the 3rd or the 4th of oct, might even be able to do oniter if anyone keen. As well oct the 3rd is labour day ie public holiday so sunday night up the beach weather permiting , anyone interested cheers samo

Wifey is working all long weekend. If I cut a deal with mum to babysit, I will be there for a day run.

but it all depends on when the new adition wishes to enter the world.

Alrighty, we are in Porepunkah at the moment and will be spending a few more days here.. Off to Mount Buffalo today for a look.. Still scheduled to be in Newy by the long weekend, so either of those days for a early morning run up the beach would be terrific.. I'll update again when we are a bit closer.

Heading to Newie today, Stocko run is definitely on for the long weekend. We just have to decide on a day... I'm not fussed either way..

went for a run up there today, not many about, still managed to find someone bogged in the middle of the beach, 5 cars, not 1 of them had a snatch strap, i thrw them mine and sat back and watched and had a good laugh, early sunday morn suit ?, after all it is grand final day for NRL. cheers samo

Frangipani's are Tam's favorite... No 'my family' stickers on MUMSRIG though LOL..

Alrighty, Saturday is now out for us so an early morning Sunday run sounds like the go!! Who's in?
