Cape York trip quick one

I'm off to cape York it's a quick trip but don't have much choice due to work and school holidays . There was supposed to be 4 of us but it hasn't turned out that way due to one person getting very sick and can't drive for months so there is my father in a challenger , a 76 series with camper trailer and myself towing camper also . I will try and keep photos coming .

Made it sitting at Seisa now drying the car out after getting stuck in nolans other than that not one drama on the telegraph track. Talking to people at nolans seems like people were getting stuck with trailers and while we were there every car without a trailer got through ok. Would I tow a trailer again up here yep . . Will try and get some pics up.

Hard luck at Nolans... sounds like it's more common than not to get stuck there at the mo.

Auto skin acts sort of like a snake skin and the when you finished just blow it off with pressure wash or my son starts peeling it off like sunburn . You can see it on the net how it works . I should off been using it from day dot might off kept the bush pin striping down .

Nolans is reasonably deep.....my Prado was beginning to float crossing this river when I went up there last year.

Can i ask what make is your camper trailer? looks like it would have handled the trip with ease.
I like the storage box on the front, looking for something similar for our- about to be remodeled trailer.

Troy I was going to keep a track of every picture and so on that hasn't happened I do have videos as well I will get them up on you tube when I can with my other videos . I have kept a track of fuel costs. My trailer is a vacation camper it's handled the trip fine little less paint on it . You can't see by the picture but I have an extra room that sits beside drawbar and flys like the one over the bedroom for the anex and extra room make huge diffence to comfort inside

Richo that goopguys stuff looks exactly the same I bought mine from opposite lock in a 4lt I still have heaps only done the sides and back of my car and fathers car and once on a previous trip up to warburton Vic . It makes my car look flat black.
