    We loved our trip through the 'Painted Desert' and the breakaways.



    We stayed at Arkaringa Station one night in 2009. I think it cost us $10-15. This gave us a campground area, fireplace, wood, and hot showers/amenities (which were extravagant for bush camping). Highly recommended.

      A bit late to reply.. thanks ntp for the photos. Drove past the homestead and there was a big sign advertising hot showers. It would have been a good welcome for travellers out that way.
