Hi all if people are interseted in a weekend away down around the grafton around I will propose a date for a camp over or a four hour drive each way from brisbane, I am going out on a limb here to say there is plenty of tracks all around the area and free camping depending where people won't to go. I do plan as such where to go depending on who goes and and how well equipped vehicle are but it is all good the trip has to be safe and everyone has to go home at the end of it. So if any has ideas feel free to let us know, I was thinking on a weekend closer to the end of december eg camp over or drive up and back..

Hi there guys i am proposing a date for the 17th/18th of December for a trip around the back of Coffs Harbour mount coramba and the rover trail these track are depending on the wheather as i said in my last post there is plenty other areas to have a look at if the wheather is wet, The people that are coming from brisbane you can come down the highway to coffs harbour and then up in the bush or if we do not wish to go there you can travel down mount lindsay road through to wiangaree then on to toonumbar dam down through the bush at mallanganee down throught to alice if not camping there keep on going to washpool creek, camham for the night. There is plenty to see that's why depending on where the group travels from it to where we end up most. The trails are on youtube i do not know how to put the links up on the site check them out i will put a new thread up on the site in the trip reports cheers keithLast edited by kieth; 16-11-2011, 03:02 PM.

oh yeah. been meaning to reply to that since i saw the email notification!
no joy tomorrow for a trip unfortunately, last free weekend before christmas and my new camping trailer is ready for collection so it's time to finally clean up all the camping gear from the GTG and tidy up under the house so i don't have to squeeze the Prado between the tent and the stacks of other gear currently surrounding the car!
