  • NSW: Sunday November 20th Lidsdale SF & Mt Walker

We're heading out to Lidsdale State Forest / Marrangaroo National Park just west of Lithgow on the Great Western Hwy. Agenda for the day will be the usual medium grade tracks and creek crossings, and a stop over at the infamous Mt Walker so I can test out my new setup (4.88's, 33's, dual lockers). If time permits, I'd like to explore some new tracks.

Please read the following disclaimer if you wish to participate on this trip. If you choose not to accept the terms & conditions therein, you are requested not to attend.

Meeting at: McDonalds at Richmond, cnr of March & Eastmarket Sts. at 8:00am, departing around 8:15 am http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&bi ... CBoQnwIwAA

Finishing time is flexible; if you want to leave early it won't be a problem (but you may need to navigate your own way out). We usually finish around 4 or 5pm.

Bring: Prado, morning tea, lunch, water/drinks, camera, air compressor/recovery gear if you have it, sense of adventure.

NO NO NO!!!!!! I've just been told I jumped the gun on this. We'll have to cancell again as we are already committed to higher duties on Sunday. I'm looking forward to a possible camp this year still. Don't mind a bit of driving for that.

Nick in the 4" Patrol is out

He managed to bend his front axle housing and brake an engine mount on the lower section of Mt Walker last time.

heh, I'm not surprised. That'll be quite expensive if he needs an entire diff & axle.
