Yep, it was a great day on Mt Walker!

Mick, thanks for all your patience and assisting the winching.

Now, you guys wouldn't believe it, when I first crawled up the really gnarly section of Mt Walker, my front driver side wheel was spinning a bit, which means my front locker hadn't engaged! :O So Declan, new line?

Photos coming soon... videos; eventually; they're big in HD.

      EDIT: My favourite photo thus far, on the gnarly section; I'll call this "thank god for sway bars";

I hadn't considered that. I usually engage the front on the fly during the climbs (on a mild section with low RPM), so figured it didn't engage due to the tension. Perhaps I should have a chat to ARB.

my rear played up a while ago, would take a bit to engage, was put down to failed o rings, under further inspecion it was the air slide mechanism, was repaced under warranty so alls good, hope you find a favourable outcome. cheers samo, buy the way the newish mudders look the shiz.

One of our favourite medium/hard hill climbs in this forest:

Here's the lower part of Mt Walker.

First up is me, I only have this shot of the higher section:

Declan having issues with the first step up:

                Declan half way there:

Declan easily conquering the top section with his new MTZ's. A few weeks ago with the AT's, it just wasn't possible.

Declan having a go at the upper section of Mt Walker. Unfortunately that last big step wasn't going to allow him up, so out comes the winch...

GH4wd having a go at the upper section of Mt Walker. Almost made it over the last step, but unfortunately winch time again. I must say these winches make real easy work of nasty climbs - so much less stress on the vehicles.

                            Part of Lake Lyell:

Declan having a go at this short little climb. It's very steep and has a very significant step up. I only just managed to climb this with dual lockers (and I'm hoping someone has video of it!!)

Another good day out by the looks. I had my first little adventure around Lithgow on Saturday - we went in at Zig Zag and had a look around. Plenty of dirt bikes to keep you on your toes that is for sure. A few 4WD with massive lift and big tyres getting stuck into the real hard climbs.

                              cheers

                              Bundy made me do it!

Sorry guys. Couldn't make it yesterday. Couldn't get the car sorted in time plus I didn't recover well from a Bucks Night I will keep an eye out & hopefully be there next time.

                                Cheers
