Also, on that last shale rock climb, I have no evidence, but surely it must have been working. My height and tyres alone could not have made that much of a difference.glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90

Was Beefsteak Crk FT graded?
There was a lot of work going on there 6 months ago with some big gates going in
I haven't had a chance to get back out there to see what 4wding is left and would appreciate any info on the area.

Yeah we headed out their for a play and bit of a look around, didn't get a chance to head down beefsteak creek f/t as they shut the gate as we rocked up and it was raining, Their was a back way into it but it was late afternoon by that point. We found a few other fun drives though off 6foot tack and some good camping spots. Looks like we will be heading back their this weekend. A mate did the fire trail a coulpe of weeks ago and with his 2 inch lifted patol, with muddies struggled though beefsteak. should be fun.150 prado V6, yokies 32"s, bullbar, towbar, 2" lift, snorkel, diff breathers, e.r.p, winch, 14"s of lcd...hummm now what

Last time I was going down that way I came unstuck about where those people are in the background.
Slid right off the track and crapped myself!
It's never been dry when I've been there. The wet makes it hard work (but fun).

Not my Kluger, I was only a passenger on the day with very 4wd knowledge between all of us. Since that day I got myself a real 4wd with proper recovery gear. The SES recovered the vehicles after we walked for miles trying to get mobile reception. Not a day that i am proud of but it ended being a big adventure.2004 GXL V6, full house
