Absolutely luv this one, goes to show how rocky it was on that hill climb.
And to think LFaR did it with no sump or front underbody protection.
And fortunately, didn't touch down once. Although, I'm surprised to see how close that rock looks under the rear towbar. I recall I had rocks to climb on top of to step over various boulders. Though, I didn't realise how close it was when coming down on the towbar. It looks like I missed by a "bees ...".

Oh yeah, it reminds me... the Prados go where motorocycles struggle!

Actually, is that boulder under the towbar an optical illusion? As I look at it, it morphs between being a boulder to space under the car...

        Hi Matt

The camera angle puts the boulder closer to the car than it actually is but it was still very close when you actually dropped into the hole hence the photo.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Was a great pic none the less as I do remember that trail being a steady climb with plenty of large rocks and small boulders.
The OME suspension was definitely working as we crawled and bounced our way to the top.
And the tyres held up well also with no chipping or gouging.

I wasn't surprised at all that the trail bikers decided to stop, walk and push.
It's alot easier doing that sort of driving on 4 wheels rather than 2.

          cheers

I think that's looking through and out the other side... you can see the diff pumpkin to the left of the shadow...
NOT that the track was any less rocky than already stated!!
            Cheers, Leon

oh, and time/technology got away from me today... still working on the video.
It's damn hard to keep it to a viewable length, lots of sped up sections I think...
              Cheers, Leon

You're right on the money Snaga, a very good illusion depending on if you interpret it in the foreground or background.
                But definitely in the background.

Depth and focus from the lens certainly makes the shot interesting.
If it weren't for the motorbike in the photo, you'd almost think of the whole scene being a miniaturized model toy car.

                cheers

Probably would have been better if it wasn't taken through the dirty windscreen

It's drivable without lift but you will be scraping frequently.
See ya on the tracks, Richo.

                                Rob,

A very large portion of the original play areas now have gates or giant boulders preventing ingress. The track we ran was the "public" road that runs through the region, which is still a lot of fun.

                                Cheers,

                                Dave
