  • Adel -> Innamincka & Back

    G'day,

    I have been wanting to do this trip for a fair while.

    Adelaide to Wilpena Pound, onto Innamincka then back via Cameron Corner

    So my Question is WHEN is a good time? I'm thinking later this year maybe September / October ?

    what do you reckon?

    cheers,
    Smac

      I did the trip in July and it was still abit wet around the place. I think august september would be a great time to go as it should be nice and green and all the flowers etc should be in full bloom which makes for an interesting trip.

        Anytime in winter or early spring should normally be okay. However, with all the rain over the recent years, you will need to look at the various road authority web sites to see if the roads are open.

            Also we will have the SEQ crew on their way to the SA GTG around that time. We haven't chosen a route yet, there is a chance we may cross paths.
