It sort of lost a bit of that fun feel as things got harder and every 100 metres was a battle ... but having said that ... I'm going back and Bek is as determined to return. Although the next time we will be much better prepared. Bek's agreed that her working 3 days a week will pay for the snorkel and winch by christmas
It's really quite amazing how much a track can change .. going from undulating but driveable to impassable. Just add 2" of rain and a crew who must have gone in mid week .. and they certainly struggled, from the looks of those ruts and churned up mud.
Cheers

Yeh agreed but you still gave it a good shot just glad nothing happened to the engine.I think from here on in the tracks will dry as the rain should? start to slow down then we will complain about the dust.
Good luck on the nanga run just wish i could be there. My wife keeps telling me to be patient, but i told her patients only belong in hospitals! :lol:Cheers Moto

Russ
Spray on, give it a sec, use a nice cloth ( i got one from autopro) rub-a-dub-dub. Very nice.
Says to avoid glass and clear plastic. So also got armourall glass cleaners to remove the window grime and overspray from the interior cleaner.
Never been one for all the car cleaning stuff on the shelves of those car shops, But the stuff sure does work well.Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

Aaaahhh ... but we're following Justo
I was going to tie a couple of diesel trucks to his back bumper and slow him down a bit
There's 22 Km of beach ... which can go fairly quickly if everyone stays above the surface.
There's 53 Km of Nanga trail ... which is suggested at 3 hours.
I'm planning for around 4pm ... knowing that if we have any recovery dramas there is still a bit of daylight around
Cheers
