  • NSW: Wednesday April 25th: Ourimbah State Forest

We're heading up to Ourimbah State Forest for some 4x4 fun and exploring. First mission of the day is a difficult rocky climb which is entirely optional (probably not possible without lockers and lift). We'll also head over to the north/east part of the forest to explore some new tracks. There are ruts and rocks but the worst can be skipped if need be.

Please read the following disclaimer if you wish to participate on this trip. If you choose not to accept the terms & conditions therein, you are requested not to attend.
    http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...claimer-Notice

    Meeting at:
    SYDNEY:
8:00 AM @ Maccas carpart, Thornleigh. Departing around 8:15am. The entrance is on Central Ave, just off Pennant Hills Rd - follow the Maccas sign http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=mcd...,0.009162&z=17
CENTRAL COAST: 9:00 AM @ the corner of Pacific Highway and Palmdale Rd, Palmdale. It's a round-about, but there seems to be plenty space on the side of Pacific Highway. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=pal...+2258&t=m&z=18

Finishing time is flexible; usually 4-5pm, but if you'd like to leave earlier, the F3 Freeway is nearby.

Bring: GLOVES, Prado, morning tea, lunch, water/drinks, camera, air compressor/recovery gear if you have it, sense of adventure.

    UHF channel 28

    Attendees:

    williade (LC80)
    02 prado/ td (90)

Can I ask why the posts for day outs in the Sydney area are always only posted the day before? Makes it almost impossible for those of us who organise things more than one day in advance to attend.

Yeah my trips are often late notice, sorry about that, I live in the moment... clearly... BUT YOU could always incite some interest and get a trip happening by posting in the next trip thread in advance. Just by setting a date people may come. Also, keep an eye out for Glenn's trips - he usually puts them up with more notice.
