Also keen to get out for a trip with others, I'm in the same boat with mates who aren't into 4wds.
Mindful of standard Grandtreks and limited under body protection, so not real keen on the more technical trails though.
9th is out as I am heading up to York for the young blokes enduro training day.
Have done the powelines at night previously but understand that the track has been upgraded lots since then, not sure about the mud though, also done Lancelin to Wedge along the beach, but that was before the track was closed (I think the run along the beach is still open depending on weather and tide), another was some tracks around Lane Poole Dwellingup, these can be a bit rough and muddy after rain from memory and I cant remember where they went.
Most weekends are OK for me unless they line up with Enduro races, and pretty much willing to travel either side of Perth for a trip.
    Kev,

Easy drive ,mainly track driving .This would be a interesting late afternoon drive as the sun goes down near Wilbinya across the ocean.
          Maybe a afternoon start?

Can't do anything this weekend, but might be up for something next weekend, need someone to lead the way though, wilbinga, two rocks sounds interesting.
Wouldn't mind having a look at tims thicket area either.

Dead keen to get out for an easy track around Perth this weekend if anyone else is going out. Was going up to two rocks last Sunday but ended up fixing my roof instead. The universe owes me a day off to take out the new to me 120 I got last week.

The Missus and I went out toward toodyay today and did 4wd days out of Perth #6, Moondyne Country. nice and easy but a good day out. Did a few sidetracks near toodyay that were fun. The hill down to Sappers camp is gated this time of year. That didn't stop anyone else with 10 heading around the gate and down while we were there. The track down was in pretty good shape but decided to do the righty and hiked down with the dog instead. All in all, a good way to spend Canada Day.

Quote of the day was from the g/f. "This is great, we should try and do one of these every other weekend." She wants to go camping Down at Baden Powell this weekend or next.

Keen to see more of the area so shout out if you're keen for a day out.

Took the dog and g/f down to dwellingup camping. A lot of the tracks are closed due to tree fall but ranger reckons they'll be open again in 2 wks time. Ring DEC first if you're planning a trip down. Still a nice weekend out of doors.

I know it's short notice but I'm going up to the Powerlines on Sunday with a couple of friends - meeting at KFC in Mundaring at 08:30 if anyone's interested?
