  • Took the 90 up Senic Rim

Hey guys took the Prado up to Scenic rim Adventure park a few months ago thought i would share some photos of our Adventures

The weekend began with a perfect sunny morning and a nice clean truck!

Meet up with a mate who just recently purchased a prado rv6 and was itching to take it out

We set off to Bromelton out Beaudesert for the park, our initial thoughts were road pressure 4HL when we got to the fork for the park, but that soon changed when i got to the top of the first hill fighting gravity as the Prado clawed its way up like a rabid cat. I thought to myself as soon as i got about 1/3 up the hill i was in the wrong gear, My mate Still managed to Skull drag his camper up there before i could get on the radio to suggest a better plan of attack.

The trip in took about 30mins, we filled out our forms, paid ours fees and set off to the campsite located close to the entrance of the park

We quickly set up camp so we could go have a short play before we settled in for the night.
Over the following days we had a few others join us another Prado 120, a Dual cab hilux and another mate brought his Mavric up too

One of my good mates Stu brought his 120 series along, the first hill he went down he lost these!!!!

Stu became the bain of our existence towards the end of the day, was a great laugh though stopping every ten or so meter's up car wash lane (yes your car gets washed in mud) to pull or recover him

I proceeded after this encounter with the side of a bank telling the missus that we really do need a front bar

Anyway had a fantastic time out there look forward to the new park opening soon as they are moving to a better location
i highly recommend you get along if you have never been

But being a obsessive compulsive with my vehicles it didn't last for long

Steel Side steeps would have come in handy to
