It'll get gated off untill some clown smashes the gate down then everyone will go back in. They have been shutting it down for years.

Thanks Gumboot/Rob for the phone call, thanks Richo for leading (wheres ya pics) and thanks everyone else for a good day out been a while and its a good track with a bit of everything. Those views though are outstanding.
As jimmy said the gates if you didnt notice are banana shape for a reason, they get shut then they get opened and nowhere near as gently as when they get shut

Guys looks like fun and place I need to explore so close to home. Could you pass on the actual address?
If anyone is looking at going or going again I would be happy to meet up and bring the coffee.

Ormeau is a great Sunday morning drive, will be a shame if and when they close the gate.
Was a great drive out there the other week, hope to do another one soon.
Great pics Craig, was awesome to see how much more capable the FJ was over my 120.
As seen in this pic below, my Lifted 120 with bigger tyres, used to just scrap its steps here.
No issues at all in a stock FJ.

Fabes,
Not sure what's happening up there. I doubt the gates are up but you never know. If you live on the south side it's worth the drive for a look. I maybe going through Yatala tomorrow and if I do a slight detour maybe in hand. Let you know if I get there.

Unfortunately got close but too many commitments today and couldn't detour. Must say itching to go back. We should go and test out your new suspension and give the winch I'm fitting for you a test in the same place Craigm tested his (post #24).
