Trip to Emu Creek Off Road Park Tabulam NSW 2469 ( 20-21st July)

Hello All

Have planned a trip to Emu Creek Off Road Park .... following weekend ( 20-21st July)......approx - 1600 km's return trip to Sydney

Plan is to leave on 20th (friday) evening drive approx 500 kms.... .halt somewhere and then next morning (Saturday) reach Emu around 10ish ......Exlpore the whole day spend the night in their cabin (as rest my friends are not hard core campers so setting my own tent is out of question .........leave EMU on Sunday morning and reach SYD by late evening.

Any suggestions or advice is welcome .......or if some one is interested to join is most welcome

I thought that place was closed down due to all the council requirements..???

I know that Rover Park past Tenterfield has now closed it doors..... which is a shame as I never really got down there to a look/play

I only spoke to them on friday the 6th of July and they were still operating ........so hopefully nothing has changed in the last week

Mastermanoj on the phone from sydney to grafton it is 8 hours you can camp at copmanhurst on the river and then move on up the dirt rd on to Tabulam is that an idea or what?? if not give us a e-mail with your phone number and i will give some advise from the mobile.

We have decided to spend Saturday night 21^st in one of their own Cabins .....will save me lots of extra weight of the camping stuffs .....coz i have another 4 friends travelling with me (in my car)

This is where we would stay and 4WD

No worries Max I through that you where camping half way up mate when I read the post. Copmanhurst was a good post for a camp and then the next day you would have followed your nose up the dirt Rd to Tabulam if I am not doing anything then yes i will thank you for the offer cheers
