  • Condamine river run oct 2007

Myself and a few friends from the Gold Coast Jeep Club took a run through the condamine river area last sunday, beautiful scenery and a nice easy trip from brisbane that can be done in a day. You cross the river 14 times and then we ended up at the Queen mary falls for Lunch. Because we decided to come back the same way we actually did 28 river crossings that day. Most of the crossing's weren't up to the sidestep with some a bit deeper, probably top of the number plate. Anyhow here a few snaps from the day.

The prado crossing one of the many rivers.

Some boys on bikes, bugger that.

A couple of the Jeep boys.

    One of the locals.

    A group shot.

Where was my invite... oh, hang on... you did mention this trip didn't you ops:

So, you got to do the whole trip this time without any motorbike accidents or emergency services

Is that first pic about standard depth for the crossings??

Oh, and great 'snaps' of course
    Cheers, Leon

Leon, The first one was probably the average with a couple a little deeper, we did have a subaru outback follow us through so they weren't to hard, most of the jeep guys did the trip in two wheel drive.

Great to see some water in those crossings. We're thinking of heading there in the next few weeks... should be a good intro to offroading with a 3 month old

              Condamine Trip

Nice pics Hutch, where are the Condamines? Is it south-west of Brisbane towards Warwick? Sounds familiar but no map in front of me at the moment. Looks nice anyway. KMK

KMK, just outside of Boonah is the start of the trip. Happy to take some of you down there one day on another run. Fairly easy going.
