I was down there last Sept so can't help with current track conditions but it was dry and pretty easy going then. Lots of steep hills which would make it a very different drive in the wet.

              Hi Ryan,
I was down there the easter long weekend........
we entered Bendethera from merricumbene fire trail, went down to bendethera then came out from the
Dampier mountain fire trail then into Braidwood....the trails are easy going but very slow..parts are very rocky
and very steep hills...standard prado will have no problems..

this is the start of merricumbene ....

Hi, yes this is the way we went through. Very easy going. My Prado was stock also. Touched the bash plate on a few rocks .ok if you take it easy though.

Was down there over the Australia day weekend.5 cars in total with camper trailers in tow.Due to the downpour on the Friday night we decided to leave 1st thing sat morning as there were quite a few cars all over the place and with basically 1 way out with trailers we didn't want to wait for others to chew up the track.
Have been d own there a few times now and it is an awesome place.

Would be keen to go there again shortly.

We made it there ANZAC weekend Place is AWESOME . Had the 150 , 120 and Pathfinder , did the caves Friday and Saturday did Dampier , Minuma , Mongamula Mericumbene and the back on the Bendethera Fire Trail . Great Day out for a new comer .Only a couple of the hills were a little challenging due to Loose rock but the rest was great . A little Steep but heaps of fun . Would have been a lot different had it been wet with a fair amount of Clay about .Great open spaces for the kids while we relaxed of the evening Hell of an introduction to Taking the 120 offload but now i'm Hooked!.
