Whoah... Apologies everyone for the delay in finishing this report. But here are a few more pics..
Once we made it thru Cockatoo Creek it was on Elliot Falls. We were confronted with a long water crossing (which as it turned out was only about a foot deep), but we chose to take to high road which involved a fair bit of right foot...
At that point we took the Nolans Brook Chicken track and got back on the PDR. We made a bee line for the Jardine ferry...
A little funny story... At the Nolans bypass road we stopped to pack up the recovery gear. I gave the missus the leatherman and told her to hold on to it... In typical female fashion she placed it on top of the camper and you wouldnt believe it... After 50 odd km's off hard corrigations and big whoops it was still on top of the camper when we got to the ferry...
The Jardine River
We got to Seisha and set up camp. The next day we too to back road to to the tip, via Punsand Bay.... and yes nissan drivers are wankers... you may have to look closely... It says in small writing - 'No Toyotas'
Brings back good memories reading this, can't wait to go back again.
Cheers Andrew
Oh for sure Andrew, we didnt want to come home. It was a life changing journey, the kind of trip that set this 'offroad' lifestyle in concrete for us as a family... We have so much more to see... This is only the beginning for us.
