    Yes Dan those are the dates .
    If anything maybe would of brought it forward a week to get more out of the school holidays but it gives more people with school aged kids a chance to come .
    I will be trying to get there on the 22nd or 23rd more time at Coconut Resort and yes the 11th back in Cairns then we can all start heading back south .

    I will be updating the proposed itinerary, route . We can all stay together the whole trip or once we reach the tip people have the option of heading back themselves, staying longer around the top or doing some more tracks on the way back down.

    Depending what way we come up from down south Dan we might have a big group driving up to Cairns .

      19 months as of now, so about 2 1/2 around June next year... still unlikely she will come as she's not much good in the car

        Just Gravity fed but I had a pump there just in case. We had them in 2 of the vehicles worked well just makes the feet position higher for the passengers in the back.

          Can we jump on the list as a definite maybe.
          Just waiting to hear back on school placement results later this month.

            Just had a work mate return from the tip. He said it was dry as track wise but drisled most nights. Little over 10 months we are keen as!

            I think i have 8 weeks off, I plan on doing 4-5 days to get to cairns from newcastle. I was thinking on visiting frazer on the way back? Wonder what its like weather wise that time of year?

                i'm 110% going, got the green light from the minister of finance, all of the mods will be done & my long service leave kicks in early march,i really don't have any excuse not to cross this off the list, personally i can't wait to get up there. if there's any goldy / brisvegas people keen to meet up & discuss the trip that would be great too. cheers mike.

                  Add us the list, as it seams that our planned Kimberley trip with a few mates for the same period, may need to be postponed.
                  And their's no need to let the leader of the opposition's approval, to go to waste....

                  We will have the 3 kids ( 2,5,7 by then) and a camper trailer.

                          Yes, I think we will be splitting up the group while on the main dirt roads. Tele track we will all catch up with each other.

                          I didn't have a second spare last time I did the cape . 24 something spares at the moment.

                          Maybe I need to put a limit for cars. Becoming a big group, look out for the Prado invasion of the cape .
                          Myswag took 30 cars in 2012 but they had a few people who had previously done the trip before.
