  • Colo NSW day trip

Finally got a chance over the Christmas break to go out and have a bit of fun in the Prado.
Haven't had much of a chance to test out the new Bilsteins & Kings.
I was happy with the new found flex & was pretty pleased with how it rode on the rough stuff compared to the original suspension.

We had a blast & i was piddling myself laughing at my Brother who was a 4wd'ing 1st timer when he says to me from the passengers seat.... mmmm, i guess it takes a little while to get used to these unusual angles

All in all a great day had by all.

I love getting out to Colo, but unfortunately as per all National Parks areas, it is fast becoming gated off everywhere.

    Regards, Jason.

      Hi Jason,
Looks like you had a ball. Haven't been on those tracks in a couple of years now. Did you try the rutted hill climb? It was getting pretty washed out last time I saw it.

If that is the Rutted Hill climb off to the Right as you come into Colo, i am sad to say it no longer exists.
Last time i was in the track, it had been Graded completely smooth & as i was leaving they were erecting a gate as i was driving out.

I used to love that track.

        Regards, Jason.
