  • Spicers Gap QLD

    G,day newbie here

Have recently purchased a 120 GX and thinking of going out to Spicers Gap near the Cunningham h/way. Has anyone been out on this trip before, if so can I get some help with what I'm in for? Conditions following the recent rainfall in the South East corner, have read about two different ways in?? Any info appreciated.

    Hi Niceone,

Welcome to the forum, please update your profile with where you are from at least.

AFAIK there's only one way in (and out) these days unless you have a key to the gate that divides the section dropping down off the range. The road is quite a non-descript looking track off the highway maybe a kilometre or so past the servo if heading west.

The best map is page 7 of this document:

Condition-wise, who knows, make sure you take plenty of pics. Good luck!

    Cheers,

    Dave

Moogerah Dam end can be done in any 2WD vehicle. If you want to lock the centre diff, go the road at the top after the servo. Don't know if that's the one you call Fisher Park. The locale is called Tregony on the maps I have.

        Cheers,

        Dave
