No reception out there... it was GREAT!! Two days out of touch.... ahhhhhh

Friday, I'd say 3 or so deg and Sat night easily down to 0 or 1 deg. Was very brisk.
I needed to drop my fridge to 1deg before the things inside felt cold. On Friday I took two beers out of the fridge. Put one on the camper's toolbox and drank the other... when I finally got to the 2nd beer, about an hour... it was colder than when it came out of the fridge

Plenty of black soil mud made for a dirty weekend.
Will do a trip report tomorrow but I can say Lorelai and I had a great time.
        Cheers, Leon

Got home 1/2 an hour ago after coming home via Condamine Gorge and an unexpected detour shortly after with the road back to Boonah closed at the Waterfall meaning a U-Turn and returning via White Swamp. Great drive home at Dusk! I put my two bobs worth in tomorrow also (time for dinner and unpack)

If you take the tracks to the lookout right at the top of the property you can get one maybe 2 bars of coverage

Truth be told... I didn't go looking for it. I had the phone in 'flight mode' all weekend.

                    A quick couple...

Matt trying out the winch... a bit soggy after Fridays rain.

Clear sky on Saturday night made for a very cold sleep.
                    Cheers, Leon

                      Leon,
What a fantastic night sky developing in that second photo. Great shot.
Looking forward to the trip summary.
                      Cheers

A quick video of Stewys attempt at being an anchor point... with slippery black soil and a car lighter than the bogged vehicle... well...

                        Cheers, Leon

... and shortly after this muddy creek crossing stopped us going any further.

                            Cheers, Leon

                              Leon,
That's an evil laugh as the FJ is being pulled backwards...
What tyres is Matt running on the 150 in the second video? That black mud looks slippery.
                              Cheers

Yes, I think it was Craig... not sure though.

I think Matt runs Mickey T ATZ.

It was very slipery... at one point I could push Craig's car sideways while he was parked
                                Cheers, Leon
