Sounds good. I get back from Brisbane next Tue so if anyone needs some advice on recovery kit etc just let me know.

My wife and I went for a drive yesterday around Adelaide River where all of you will be going next week, stopped in at Anniversary Creek to see a work mate and his family who are camping there a couple days, a great spot with a spring fed creek. We went into the tracks from the tower hill just before Robin Falls. The track thru that area is rocky and rough, there is some good camping besides a creek in that section. Just before that track joins up to the track that either heads back to Adelaide River coming out at the dump or heads out to the Daly River Road there is a steep rocky section. Going down was hairy as it was loose and shaley, if going up you would need lockers with some large ledges near the top, it will be a good test with careful placement of tyres. We headed of towards Daly River road, nice easy track with some small diversions around washouts but come too one washout we couldn't get around or we took a wrong track near the end. We back tracked to the junction and headed back to Adelaide River way as there was no way I could get up that rocky hill without help so a little further we came upon Landrover Springs creek. I've been told about this creek with mates saying they have been stuck here. I had a look and thought I could do this with Helga getting a little upset (Nolan Brook Demons). I drove thru no worry's, it was easy, the sandy bottom is quite hard not like Nolans. 20 minutes later we were at Adelaide River.
You will have a good time in convey and let us know if any of you climb that steep rocky hill.

          Cheers Derek

So what's the consensus of opinion. Is this to be a day trip or weekend trip? If day trip are we doing it Saturday 22nd June or Sunday 23 June? Have i missed this in previous posts, had a quick look but couldn't see anything definitive.

                Hi guys,

We might be up for a drive next Saturday too, I'm just confirming that we don't have anything on. That Adelaide river track sounds like fun.

If we are free it will more than likely be just for the day and it we be my wife and I and our five your old son.

We are in the Darwin city area so could meet up at Coolalinga at 9am.

                Cheers,

I'll be back at the mine working but would have loved to come out with all of the PP's, this might be the most PP's that have done a trip out of Darwin.
Maybe my roster will line up in the future, have a great time on those tracks, and watch the pin stripping, those small trees are vicious.
A camp trip out that way would be good at some stage.

                      Cheers Derek

                          Hey all,

We only drive that track yesterday (Sunday) and loved it. Would be keen for another one with all the pp's but the wife twinged her back picking up the twins half way through that trip, can I say it was a VERY long and rough way home for her..

If things change Ill let you know... And welcome...
