Yeah certainly does help I'm doing the lift last after I got all the weighty stuff on the car.

Yeah thanks guys, had a great day out, no damage just a few extra bush pin stripes. I'm keen to do some more when the roster permits.

I looked on google earth and I think that branch track would have made it back to Adelaide River, might have to explore that at a later stage. Think we will camp there next time so we can explore some more.

Thanks for starting the thread Jim.

            Cheers,

            Mark

Sounds like all had a blast, wish i wasn't at work so we could have joined, did any of you drive that hill with the ledges near the top on the right track or the left with lots of loose rocks ? Looking at google earth i saw how i missed the turn off to continue to Daly River Road when we were there a couple weeks ago and ended up at a creek crossing where you could not continue forward. Steve from Oppy Lock had warned me that its easy to miss.
That is a great area not far from Darwin

              Cheers Derek

                  G'Day Jim,

You happy for me to post some video of our last trip? It shows your number plate that's all. Reynolds track would be good. How much time would we need to drive it? We may have to kick of at say 8am or 8:30am at Noonamah. I know there is plenty of room there and the foods good.

                  Winston.

i'm keen to go and put faces to names, the Reynolds track is still closed on the NT government site, maybe the track to the back of butterfly gorge might be the go.

                    Cheers Derek

I got no dramas with that mate and ive had mates do over nighters out there and Noonamah sounds good bit more children friendly then the Caltex. my next break will be from the 18th to the 21st of july the one after that is the 1st to the 4th of august and so forth every two weeks. Derek that might be the go if the Reynolds is still closed for the dates we can get a few of us out there. chris if we do the Reynolds then yes it would be an over nighter.

That's why the Prado's are nice to drive. They are very quiet inside.
