Not sure if you are aware or not, but the latest Western 4WDriver magazine has an article by Ron Moon on the Munja Track. It describes the features and a bit of history and says at the the end of the wet season when the track dries out, a team heads out from Mount Elizabeth Station to clear and smooth out the track. Cost $120 to do the track, mostly to pay for the upkeep apparently.

Its been a long time since I was last up in the Kimberley, one day I'll get back up there again.

The 4WD Action crew did the Munja track - was one of the DVD's Roothy did in the Kimberley not so long ago.

I'm not at home so I'm not sure what issue but if I remember I'll have a look and post it up. Otherwise you might be able to find it on the website.

That would make sense why its 120$ to do the track...

Not to get drawn into a debate about the practises of 4WD Action, but I believe it was that price prior to them arriving.

thswyup - if you can't find the DVD and wish to BORROW it, let me know. 4WD Action do seem to be posting a fair bit of video content online, so you may be able to score it there.
