Adelaide Steak night

I have talked with a few people about having a catch up for a meal at some stage when I am in the big smoke, always good to meet some new faces to go with the names.

Anyway what about next Monday night the 10th June! I will be in Adelaide and I gotta eat so what do people think?

Any suggestions on a good place reasonably central?

Doesn't have to be the evening, I could make lunch if that suited more people.

Who's in and where to go?

Outback Jacks or TGI at Marion shopping centre are the best restaurants in my mind. Further south, Mick O'Shea's is excellent. On South Road just north of the junction with the southern end of the southern express way.

If the rain across central Australia doesn't go away by Saturday then I like my steak really well done thanks AJ. If you start cooking it Sunday, I could be there Monday evening.

Bugger..... Ok I'll start off the excuses. We are headed up to a mates farm for the long weekend, coming back on the Monday. If its for tea, and I can sway the boss for us to leave the farm early and convince the kids to help unpack and put everything away...... Well then I might be a slim chance at being a starter.

Let me work on SWMBO when I get home from work in an hr or two.

Edit: Well I chatted the wife n got the thumbs up. So if its for tea Monday night I should be able to make it. Looks like Tuesday I'll b unpacking and putting stuff away by myself.

Amanda and I are keen to catch up and put names to faces! Can I put a suggestion forward for the Holdfast Hotel on Brighton Road, great food and has a large dining area. Either way, we're easy.

Spoke with MLC a while ago and looks like he will be there, Dodgy Dave has expressed an interest as well so that makes 4. Plus Clackers and Robs better halves is 6.
