Just wondering how long to drive Innamincka to Birdsville due north route and then back via Walkers Crossing route. Anyone done this recently? Road conditions? Average speed?

A full day from Innamincka to Birdsville. No idea about the return via Walkers Crossing, but at least a day. No idea about current conditions.Michael and Kelly

Just did the run from the Dig tree to Birdsville today. We when via Cordillo downs and it was a good road and took us 6 hours with stops on the way to look at the Wool shed. ALL of the roads up here are in really good nick as they have been preparing them for the big fun run across the Simpson and the concert on Big Red. Been told but have not traveled it that Walkers crossing is really good too and the inside Birdsville track is better than the main road. I am in Birdsville for the next few days so if you want I can give you some more information.90 series prado with lots of stuff.Comment
