Barrington Tops Sunday 25th August

I am heading down to Gloucester this weekend to have my Drifta drawers installed on Monday morning.

Plan is to leave work tomorrow at 3pm and stop for a quick overnighter at Coffs Harbour.

Then in the morning head to Gloucester, arrive around 10.30am on Sunday, then head into Barrington Tops from the East.

If anyone else is keen for a Sunday stint on the tracks I'd love the company and to be shown around.
Nothing too extreme as definitely don't want to get stuck out there! lol

The wife and bub unfortunately can't make it so will be on my lonesome. :P

Will also have Monday afternoon free for another look around before heading back Tuesday morning.

Unfortunately most tracks are closed until the 30th September but Watergauge is a nice spot to drive to, just a little boggy at the end of the track.

I have had a sticky beak through that thread, will make some notes and keep an eye out for the markers etc.

If I'm on my own I will steer clear of anything too extreme.

Ask Beechy at Drifta if he wants to go for a run up there? He has a nicely kitted up 150 that no doubt you'll see whilst at Drifta world... I'm sure he'll have some good info on the area.

There's a couple tracks listed on the 4x4 Earth website. Just steer clear of the "Bull Ridge Road to Bungaree Trail" loop if you don't want anything difficult/scary.

Alas most of those tracks are closed (gated) during the winter months Glen. Even on the State Forest side of the Tops Rd the gates were locked.

Dead? what happened?

Lost power a while ago and had chip issues at the same time..

Pulled the turbo and sent for Hi-Flowing and they found issues with it and ordered a new head as I suspect it's cracked a pre-combustion chamber and lost compression...

Hope your having a top weekend. The weather was tops today for it!!

Well we returned this afternoon from our 3 and a bit day jaunt.

Got the drawers fitted up at Drifta on Monday morning and I'm very happy with the result.
