Just arrived home from a fantastic first trip in the new Prado. Left for north Queensland on Boxing day via Broken Hill, Rockhampton, Cairns - then south through Sydney and central NSW via Hay, Mildura, Adelaide, Port Augusta then home via Esperance. The first 15,000km on the clock - a prado perfect trip!

Prado perfect holiday - 15,000 Perth/Cairns round trip

The Prado went like a dream, not one problem. Fuel consumption started at around 12l/100km (new engine), and finsished the trip at just under 8l/100km. We travelled by day in a lot of heat, but the temperature gauge didn't shift from the centre of the gauge even when it was cold outside or over 40 degrees. A great vehicle in all climates!
