Just checked the current Spring catalogue, the MS170 is listed at $399 and no free case, etc.

      Folks

I have a 61cc Husqvarna that is over 20 years old and still starts in two pulls when not used for monthes. No problems getting it serviced, bit large for day btrips as it has a 24" bar but I can cut serious track closures

        Richo,
You'll be the default lumberjack with that beast with a 24inch bar. It would cut through anything...
I reckon 18-20 inch bar is a perfect size for a camping/4wd saw.

        Cheers

Apparently it's not the size of the bar that counts, it's how you use it.

Just noticed a little minor tyre chipping from some of the Rocky hill climbs at LCMP

              Hi Craig,
Was it just that one or did you have any others as well?
Think of the postives you are making you own MT tyre pattern...
I got a few of those on our previous trip to the Springs, when we did that narrow rocky gully.

BTW I had the Prado on the weighbridge today as I normally drive it with fulltanks and me was 2820kg.

When we go away we also add passenger, food, water, beer, tent, bedding, table, chairs, BBQ, gas bottle, Shovel, hi-lift, Maxtrax and other bits. I reckon we would be nudging around 3100kg

              Cheers

The rear RHS tyre copped it the most. that was the worst one with half the lug torn off. I wonder if that was done when we were exiting the river at the head? (Shoulda used the Locker earlier....)

I ran mine over the weighbridge at the tip on the way out of town for the desert trip and I was 3380, and I still had to pick up my dad and his bags so we would have been over 3500 when the tanks were full. It's a shame ARB don't do a GVM upgrade with their suspension kits.
