Looks like a beautiful spot. I wish over here would stay that green this time of year.

              Good idea Yota
The National parks (Kempsey)rent the old school at Kookaburra. also there are the Forestry Huts past Daisy Plains.
A waterfall can be view a short walk off the road,at Kookaburra if you don't mind leeches.

Suggest a summer meet, in dry weather, you can't see much when the cloud comes in. Let us know and I will make it sweet with the property owners, at McMillan's homestead and Daisy Plains, to look around.

If you opened the link at the bottom of the original report, it shows another great trip into Kunderang River, that you can see from Mary's view.

Glen, have a look at my web site article on a trip we did Easter 2010 around this area. The link is http://www.michaelmcfadyenscuba.info...hp?page_id=766. There are also links to Google Earth and OziExplorer GPS data for the trip. The Kookaburra school is leased by scouts and is not available for rent as far as I know. There are many spots to stay. Post any questions and I will answer if possible.

                    Hey Michael,
Thanks for the info. I've read half way through your report (so far) and it's definitely increasing my interest in this area. Looks like some awesome water crossings too!
