I agrree, that last one was impressive, But I think we can do better, with your giant tent, the portugese BBQ and I will fashion up a pradopoint flag pole and we will have a base camp to behold!Originally posted by DSS150 View PostWe would definitely like to explore the area more, but if time permits would enjoy the weekend up there with overnight camp on the beachfront.I need to give the Taj Mahal we saw a run for its money, Robert.

Robert, you'll be happy to know my cable tied exhaust had no rattles all the way home.
And from what I hear your Christmas Tree did not reappear on the way home either. Still maybe time to trade up to a 150? hahaha
Between the rattle in the exhaust and your front shockie it was an orchestra. Looks like simple fixes but and it will be good as new. The exhaust certainly sounds and looks great.
There's a good deal of life in my old girl yet.
Yes we got sunshine mid morning.Originally posted by juc33_prado View Postlooked like a good day - was there any sun all day?

Was a awesome trip. Thanks Robert for organising a great day out. Jess and I had spoken for some time about getting up to cooloola for a look but were hesitant due to the lack of mates with 4x4's. You have definitely got us very keen for some for more trips. Cant wait for the next time out with all the great people that we met.

Not sure where to post this, is anyone on Fraser at the moment? We are camped on the other side of Platypus Bay and the smoke from fires on the top end of Fraser is pretty thick. Actually checked out our little patch of NP last night the smoke was so strong. Been some beautiful days though, great kayaking weather. Mind you the Chescold fridge died this trip. Only 21 years old too, nothing lasts anymore.... Will do a post when I get home of the Korr LED lights we are using under the gazebo, brilliant gear.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

How's the tracks MJ? We are heading over in the 27th for some beach camping for a few nights, looking forward to it.

I am at Burrum Pt not Fraser. Having said that all the tracks are good in the area, 40mm of rain overnight about 10 days ago. A Subaru wagon made it in today. Would have no chance usually. Not much rain expected until next weekend so it depends on how much the users chop up the tracks. My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic
