Hi All,
We have just about completed an overland journey from the London to Australia via Europe, Central Asia, China and South East Asia. We left London in April 2013 and will get to Australia in January 2014. The trip has been amazing.
We have set up a blog that may be useful for others who are interested and have tried to include useful things like average diesel prices and detailed information on border crossings, useful contacts etc (along with the usual day to day journey stuff). The blog is www.londontomelbourne.com and we also put together a map of the route that we took (http://www.londontomelbourne.com/the-route-so-far/) - a few gaps due to some technical issues but we'll hopefully resolve those soon.
If anyone has any questions on planning or doing something similar or would like assistance, we would be happy to offer our 2 cents!
