The MUX WE FOUND & a lovely couple from west side of Melbourne.


After we dragged it 100mtrs, still more to go. They actually did well & drove the rest of the way up.
They were stuck, with nothing, not even a map in the worst place, the slipperiest track in toolangi state forest, the renowned aeroplane track. About to slide into a 1.5+ drop off into a hole.

Fun day for all, even our new friends, in the MUX.
Good teamwork on the recovery guys.
Can't wait to see the photographers pics.

Next trip I will try to get the camera out more and take more pics of other rigs.
Riding up the rear of the convoy made it difficult to photograph all the drives, il try to ride near the front next trip!

Awesome trip lads, have to do it again soon.

If you remember to put the rear locker on for hill climbs, then yea they are decent!

Pretty capable trucks, they did everything the other rigs did.

They are a bit like the amaroks, a bit tite in the ass. I guess that's why they come with rear lockers.
Hiluxes have a bit more flex.
The rangers owners are happy, but they understand there no Prado

Not Vic trip!

W.a day trip Wilbinga sat 20th June.
Followed by big camp fire & camp if you wish at a private property in Bulsbrook.

Not sure how many Prados, but a few already.

Snow trips in Vic next couple months



Meeting at: Neerabup Fuel and Food (Liberty)
2038 Wannaroo Road Neerabup

Time:
Meet up by about 8.00am (Meet and greet) depart by 8.30am.

I have no idea of trip difficulty, as far as I'm concerned its a reccie.
Others coming along have been before & anybody who is coming, their input will be appreciated.
Sounds like sand driving & play on sand dunes, so bring your maxtrax/treds, snatch strap & shackles, compressor & tyre gauge, shovel etc, usual story, if you would like to come along & meet the w.a crew, but not sure give me a call & discuss it??? P.m me for number if you don't have it.
Should be easy as there has been some rain, sand might be firm.

And/or

Campfire later at private property in bullsbrook, byo for BBQ.

Having a sniff around in south w.a, it was a fun drive to the southern most point of w.a.

Esperance has some cracker beaches & tracks, so much more to explore!
