  • SEQ - Toowoomba Bush Track drive day

    Hi guys

    **EDIT: Now scheduled for SUNDAY January 19th**
    Toowoomba meeting point is:

    Toowoomba Visitor Information Centre
    86 James St, Rangeville QLD

    To allow for anyone coming from Brisbane we will meet there at 9.00am

    If Brisbane people are coming as indicated in the thread, and you want to meet in Brisbane to travel up to Toowoomba, I'll leave that to individuals to organise.

    ================================================== ==================================

    As mentioned elsewhere in the Wallers Rd thread, we're going to organise a get together for a day of bush track driving up here near Toowoomba. GUV and myself did a bit of a recce a month ago with a view to this day happening early in the new year.

    I've created this thread as a placeholder for the discussions. If anyone interested in this day can reply in this thread with their preferred day (Saturday or Sunday) and if the weekend of 18th/19th of January or 1st/2nd of February suits better.

    We'll then collate and fine tune the details towards specific times, meeting places etc as we get more input.

    The drive will mainly be through the powerline tracks near Flagstone Creek which has different levels of difficulty for everyone.

    Cheers

        This is my first time back on Prado Point in ages. But count me in as I live in Withcott and these tracks are only just around the corner from me.
        The date or day doesn't matter. I'm easy either way.

                              Thanks for all the input guys, an executive decision has been made on the day, which will be a SUNDAY. The decision on the date will be forthcoming very soon.

                              Sincere apologies to those that can't make a Sunday, we obviously couldn't accommodate everyones wishes. Having said that, there's always a next time.
