Haven't decided yet, probably aim to be at the twin servos no later than 730, otherwise it's to late returning with shity traffic

The twin servos is a good place to meet as I have to pick up my son from his grandparents at Blue Haven first.

              Afternoon all,

I was thinking about meeting at the Ourimbah rest area and heading in from Palmdale, same as we did last time Brad. This might be easier as we have people coming from North and South and could get confusing. That said, I’m just happy to be heading bush for the day, so I can meet anywhere as long as it is clear.

              Thoughts everyone?

Anyone done any tracks on the Northern end of Ourimbah SF?

Great to see some trips being run again in NSW Unfortunately I can't make this one.

I've explored the northern end on one of the PP trips, see here. It's mostly dead easy fire trails with just a couple decent climbs - one at the powerline and another nearby the Mardi Dam fence line, around here. There's also a few very short but nasty rock step climbs near the northern entrance which is frequented by mountain bike riders, around here <-- but the rock steps on those last few are very big. I'd consider them "interesting to see, unlikely to do".

                The south/west region is useless.

Generally speaking the usual south/eastern side has more than enough to spend a day having fun, and a great level of challenge for IFS vehicles (or even comp vehicles if you dare to enter the rock garden). Obviously if you've been there too many times then why not check out the north. It was quite some time ago that I was there, so it may have changed. Keep an eye out for mountain bike riders though.

Yeah, I'm happy with that- I just need a time so I can organize picking up my son from the outlaws.

                        Hey Glen,

Thanks for the update, looks like the planets have aligned for a few of us again.

I had been looking at those areas in the north on the GPS and Google maps and wondered. See how we go time wise, the usual tracks in the south east corner should keep us busy for a while. Still a few more tracks to explore in there.

I'm keen if there is a spot left. UHF Channel of choice?

I don't know the area well through. Will be coming from Sydney on the M1. Is this the interchange with the Pacific high way. I'd really apprechiate it if someone could post a way point or a google maps pins and anything like that.

Can't wait to go off road again. Its been ages. Looking forward to trying out a few new toys.

                            Cheers,
