Brains has to finish his report of last years trip before he's allowed to go out and play anymore... (which is probably why we don't see him on the tracks much, he hates doing homework!!!)

Preps to the rig are coming along ok for us i guess, we have front recovey points in with a recovery hitch for the rear, new tyres on last week, roof rack with awening installed, upgrade of suspension with 2" lift and i have had the rear air suspension converted to spring "heard too many horror stories of airbags blowing" getting a drawer and fridge slide set up built and installed by Drifta, hopfuly this will organise me a little because im doin a lot of head scratching trying to work out were im gonna fit everything for us!
Still need to get extended breathers and more lighting worked out along with anything else i have overlooked
Certainly does take a hit on the savings... Might need a lotto win if i continue with any other mods!Comment

Hi Guys, just been researching camp spots in Lakefield (Rinyirru) National Park for July 10th.
It looks like Kalpowar Crossing Camping area is the only largish one, big enough to accomodate our group as a whole.
If everyone is happy to camp here together I think we should get in and book ASAP.
Thoughts?Dan

Kalpowar crossing - we booked sites 16, 17 and 18 when we were there in 2012. Large stretch of flat grass with some tree cover on 18 and a few fire rings. Easy access to the water/crossing below. There was a good size freshy there alsoComment

Guys I just went to book Kalpowar and all but 2 campsites were booked out so not enough room for us.
I made an executive decision and have made a booking at Hann Crossing which has adequate campsites still available for our group.
In my site booking I have made it for 2 vehicles and 3 adults, so if Mike, Jase or Dane want to jump on my campsite let me know, first in best dressed! lol

Select Camping Permit - Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park and selct Hann Crossing Camping area.
Selct number of people and enter vehicles etc.
I have booked Campsite 2, at the moment 3, 4, 5, and 6 are available.
If another couple jump on the same campsite we can keep the group together on these 5 sites.
PLEASE BOOK ASAP so we can keep the group together, it seems they are filling up quick.
