Thanks mate. No problem, a few of the QLDers have been keen as mustard and keeping us on track. There'll definitely be some pictures but I'm not sure I'll be able to top Brains story.

G'day Tiny,

Pretty sure that the only camp permit I need is for Hahn Crossing camping area for the 10th July, as we're going to stay up the road @ Canal Creek on the 30th & 1st. Do I need a permit for Sunday 29th @ Dalhunty river & Wednesday 2nd @ Jardine river?? I had a look on qparks but couldn't see any campsites that matched up with our specific itinerary?? It might be a dumb question but I'd rather ask it before we leave so I can sort it out.

Hi mike, those 2 nights we're just going to pull up wherever we can find a space. May not even be a campground. If there happens to be a campground available, maybe we'll use it but otherwise, we're roughing it. No booking those days as we're not sure where exactly we'll get to.

2 more weeks till we leave! Is everyone finishing their last minute prep? I've got a few bits and pieces to finalise but I'm getting there. Planning to have a run up at bribie tomorrow just to have a bit of a play around and make sure everything is working. Then it's just finding room for all the stuff I want to take. Definitely on the home stretch now.

Not much left to do here either, just a few last minute camping bits & pieces to grab. I totally agree finding room is going to be the fun bit. Eight shifts left and counting, can't wait to get up there.

I'm just fine tuning a few things too Tiny and test packing the vehicle etc.

Got a few spares... air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, etc.

Yes, still planning to leave Saturday morning. I'll PM you some details.

Is anyone keen for a BBQ next Sunday? I don't know that there's much left in the way of details that need sorting out but we can kick back and compare notes on packing tips and such, maybe see if there's a few things we're doubling up on that we don't need to. Happy to offer up my place again if anyone's keen.
