    DAY tRiP WoMbAT - EASY DRIVE - mine tour - family day

    Hi everyone,

    DAY TRIP - WOMBAT - MINE TOUR - CHOCCY FACTORY - DAYLESFORD - ETC - newbies definitely welcome, like always.

    State & Location: VIC - WOMBAT STATE FORREST.

    WHEN:
    Sunday 1st June 2014

    WHERE TO MEET:
    MELTON MACCAS EAST, the new one next door to the new Safeway petrol. Cnr high st & Melton hwy.
    7.45am meet n greet depart 8.15am.

    TRIP DIFFICULTY:
    Tracks will vary from easy up to medium. This is not planned to be hard, but if it rains who knows maybe some fun.
    It's an easy social day, bring the kids & have a look around some old mine sites.

    VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS:
    Usual recovery gear.
    CHAINSAW PLEASE if you have one.

    UHF CHANNEL:
    UHF Ch 10

    Money for choccy mill if we get there and you want some, just incase you didn't get enough at Easter.http://www.chocmill.com.au/location.html

    FUEL AVAILABLE AT:
    Safeway petrol @ meeting point in Melton. We could do easy 200+ Klm's so please fuel up if you need to.

    BBQ lunch at Trentham.

    Just to let you all know, snags, hamburgers & bread will be supplied.
    Byo tomato sauce, onions & anything else you might want to add to a burger, cheese, tomatoe, lettuce etc.

    If you are attending please post how many snags & burgers you estimate your vehicle will consume

                    The chocky mill is not far from Mt Franklin the extict volcanoe you can camp in the crater and drive to the top off. Worth a visit if we have time.(If not already on the route)
