Hi folks,
A long way from home in Adelaide, last weekend Mrs G and I took the Mt Spurgeon Road at Mount Carbine and this turns out to be a scenic and fun track up to the McLeod River. Halfway along there is a sign as you enter Mount Lewis National Park, but shortly after the McLeod River crossing there is a locked gate.
Anyone had experience on this track and know why the gate is there? Is there anything interesting further along and can you gain access? Looking at maps I'm assuming it's still National Park.
Cheers,
Rob
