Seems the next three Sundays are booked up for us already. Next week is Father's Day, hopefully we all get car parts from the kids 👍
But I'm locking in the 21st of Sept to go and get dirty again and fill my car up with beach sand.
Gonna have a scout around for places to have a cheeky free camp close to home and drive up and down a few sand dunes of course.
Anyone keen for a drive?

I get back from Kalbarri that Friday (19th), so I'll be a maybe at this stage, the mind is willing but the Mrs is strong lol.

Enjoyed the 1st event, but might have to pass on this one.

Taking 2 weeks leave this Friday, up to Coral Bay for 7 nites, and then meander the way back to Perth via Sharkbay/Kalbarri and Geraldton with the CT - back at work on the 15th (Think SWAMBO be peeved by then!!!)

Get out amongst the hills and put your Prado's through some real soil, Harvey, Brunswick (Staples line will test you) or even The Fawcett Track!!

we like the beach. the weather will be even better by then and my kids will want to go for a swim. and we are going to look for places to camp out of the way of all the bogans. done the Fawcett track twice, will go back again next time camping in Dwellingup. Going to down to the Blackwood in Oct for a 4b too.

Have been to Wilbinga plenty of times over the years and still ove going back there to test the Prado out. But have only just realised that your actually allowed to camp there! I knew you were allowed to drive there because the 4wd instructors go there but thought the whole camping thing would be off the cards. Any way was going to camp at Flatrocks over the fathers day weekend (next weekend) but it's still going to be raining so it's now penciled in for the following weekend.
I went up last week for a run and worked out how to get in there with my camper trailer, bypassing all the boggy hills. So if you're up there then and see a camper in flatrocks stop in and say G'day....

Sounds like a plan. I heard that it's ok to camp there if you have your fishing gear out 😉 have the tent for shelter at night whilst chasing tailor
