WA Wilbinga-Seabird. March 21

I know its late notice but I'll throw it out there if anyone wants to come along. I'm planning to do a half day run up around the Wilbinga / Seabird tracks tomorrow. Haven't been off the black stuff for awhile so I'm looking forward to having another play offroad. 8)

The plan is to head off fairly early, 8ish from South of River and take lunch along to have on the beach and head for home soon after lunch.

And sorry for the late notice....!! :roll:
Let me know if you are keen and we can arrange meeting places/times etc.

I dont know how to spell her name so i wont embarrass myself trying :?

The weather was perfect and the tracks were in good nick.

The entire group consisted of Justo and Mototrim so you could say we had a GRANDE out. :lol:

As we got closer to the beach the tracks were winding and had some good slopes.



Kings of the hill,it looked like we were the only ones that had made it to the top.

After some exhaustive searching we found the fishbowl but there was no Fishnut in sight

Petrol power,Justo made it up first time and after i found the right gear no sweat


We decided to find the beach and set up for lunch but as we closer to the water the sand got real soft as Justo found out. :shock:
I dont know what the problem was because i drove past Justo and onto the beach,it must have been a petrol thing :?

I think Justo overdid the reverse out a tad

We set up for lunch and as you can see the conditions were terrible and the beach was so crowded



This last pic looks like were resting but we are really pushing like mad :shock:

It was fairly late notice Chippy and im sure the next one wont be far away 8)
We were quite amazed at the amount of people camping on the beach and there seemed to be plenty of room for everyone,maybe a thought for a pradopoint get together :?:

Nothing to be embarresed about mate, i was only talking to the guys on the weekend how soft the sand was everywhere even in the fishbowl which is normaly fairly firm.

And remember an ordinary day 4wdriving is better than a good day at work :?
