Is there much of a Pradopoint scene in the Cairns area? I'm pretty keen to get out and do some exploring and learning about the trails out this way. Obviously I'm keen on the CREB as soon as it's open, and I've been up through Daintree and Cape trib. and what not.
Is anyone that's been here a while keen on doing/running a small day trip/guided tour, or having a meet up at a shed/park? Nothing serious or formal so PP members can meet up, have a chat and talk about mods, Prado's and other 4WD's and trails in the area? I know that groups often form and people are often hesitant letting newbies in on their trails or group wheeling trips.
Anyway I'll start of by sharing what I know so far. I've been trying out the trails in Davies Creek National Park and Dinden National Park, whilst pretty tame they have been a good day out, that and if I'm not too late out I can normally make a dash for the Ice Creamery close by for some ice cream and some of their awesome Biltong to eat on the way home..

Anyway I thought I'd get the ball rolling and see who's keen, either way I'm living in Cairns and enjoy my 4WDriving so if you ever need an extra hand to work on your Prado or 4WD send me a PM more than happy to help out when I can.
I'm also a regular at the Smithfield mountain bike trails, Cairns Cable park, and keen to get into some hunting here.
P.S don't make me go looking for action on an FJ forum .. those bloody things are every where here .. lol

I'm in Townsville and wouldn't mind doing something maybe in the middle. Would have to be a Saturday or Public holiday (we dont get enough of those) Sundays are out for me. Doing the Creb, Old Tele Track next year. Going to the tip
