How bad is the track with the recent rain? I have a few other cars keen and we may still go .....

But not if you have seen it and it is impassable.

Any other words of warning? Have done the track before in the dry, and would think it could be a bit of fun if wet!

Sorry to hear the trip is off.As the weekend is going to be fine ( so the news says and we stayed at home for easter) I might head out to City View to have a look around on Sunday (never been before).I'm not available for the 12th as I'll be up at Tewantin for the school holidays.If any other PP's are going out to City View on Sunday try UHF 15.

We had plenty of rain over the last few days. I went for a quick trip and some of the tracks along the route we intend on using are very muddy and requires alot of momentum to drive through. I have all terrain tyres on. it might be a struggle for someone on slicks. I suppose the tracks are drivable but not recommended for first timers. Just my opinion.

Wattsy, create a late notice thread. I'm certain someone is keen on tagging along to Cityview. Have fun and once again I apologise for the inconvenience.

Don't apologise (best to be safe and you do more than your far share) I noticed the Northside up to Gympi has had lots more rain than southside.Does anybody have directions to City View as I'm having trouble locating a web address (never been before).

Use whereis to get you there. Assuming you're starting your journey from redland bay. www.whereis.com.au or (Brisbane UBD ref 331 D12).

Click here for direction It takes approximately 1hr 4 minutes from redland bay. Have fun.
