To be honest Glen, I did have you in mind when I made this post!
So far its a big patrol and my little Prado going. it will be a good test for my new suspension, C.Vs and front locker.

hehe actually I wouldn't mind doing some testing as well (with the new rear links). I suspect my rear shaft will start grinding on the sub tank but there's one sure way to find out. I'm interested, will let you know.......

Sweeeet! its going to be Saturday, we plan to camp Saturday night and probably Friday night some where too! maybe near Wisemans.

There's a camp site just down the road - wheeny creek of all names Quite nice actually depending on how many people are there (and if you don't mind walking gear from your car) [has toilets]. Alternatively Burralow creek is also decent, a bit further away, but most importantly it's significantly more isolated than other options nearby [has toilets]. Colo River camp site is nice with a fantastic river but very much over populated [has toilets]. Some people also camp at the end of the wheeny creek/gees arm south track - which is just a flat rock area with a view - not what I'd consider camp worthy but it I can see how it would fit in as part of the rocky adventure [no toilets]

I'll be driving straight in from home, so can meet where ever, whenever. Shall we make it track entrance (Gees Arm South) or Wheeny Creek camp site? Any time you like.......

A mate and I used to spend a heap of time around the Wheeny Creek/Colo River area back in the mid 90's when we 1st got our license. Once, we were hammering down a dirt track in an early Navara when we hit a section of sand and nearly drove off the edge of a cliff.

Learnt really quickly how bad a tank slapper can be and more importantly, SLOW DOWN!!

Hey Glen, Burralow creek seems like the best camp site for Saturday night, im now thinking meet under the power lines at 9AM, that should give us enough time for a trip to the look out and back, then to the camp site before sunset??

Hi guys, I can't make the 4wdriving but if you end up down at Burralow I might be able to slip down and meet you guys Sat evening,as it is like an extension to my property with sharing a fence with the Blue Mts N/P. You guys may enjoy the drive up thru Mt Lagoon and come into Burralow via the Bilpin [Patterson range trail] . Enjoy your trip

No worries mate, 9am at the track entrance/ power lines. Btw have you drove this track before?
