Just booked a few days at Fraser Island before the kids go back to school. Going to see if we can find the Valley of the Giants this time.

I'm in Thailand for the Christmas break.Must say it is great not having the stress of it all.As most Thai people do not celebrate Christmas.
On that note I hope that every one has a safe and enjoyable holiday break.

That is a lovely part of the world.I stayed at the caravan park just by the ferry going to the island just up the river from Augusta.Then took the tinny down the river to Augusta,never caught any fish but loved the place immensely.

Hey there Big-Trev,
I know the park you mean, I putted past there in my tinny dodging water skier's. Went a bit further up river and got a couple of bites, but this time I've got a secret weapon. I've minced up prawn heads from christmas day! Look out black bream!
The caravan park we stay at isnt advertised and is never full. There's no specific sites is grassed and has power and water, oh and a great toilet block made out local granite and slate and the walls and bench tops are jarrah slabs. But the best thing is there's a boat launching ramp at the back of the park.

Only Straddie for a day this Friday coming.
I've got 2 PP stickers, just haven't got around to putting them on yet (+ the wife hates stickers on the car, not sure how I'd hide this 1, haha)
